C.I. Pigment Green 7/ Pigment Yellow 1

History and application:
20th century
Derived from Hansa yellow, phthalocyanate green, lime and barium sulphate.
Can be used in all techniques except fresco.
This pigment can give bleed through in oil paints and so cannot be built up in layers.
